Melissa Constantino

Melissa is a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles with a combined passion for music, community building, and cultural activism. She founded Stop & Listen, LA, a community arts project that engaged the public through live music performance on the streets of Los Angeles. It was in this frame, that Melissa discovered a passion for creative placemaking in her community and was engaged with development and programming at a variety of human service agencies serving the youth and veterans experiencing homelessness. In 2016, Melissa joined the music department of Heart of Los Angeles, an organization held dear to her heart as it once embraced her as a child within its theater arts program. Melissa holds a B.A. in Sociology from UCLA and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Longy School of Music.
